Chahnna (C.J.) Johnson, Master Educator, Facilitator and Job Readiness Trainer
Chahnna is a Director of Human Resources with over 10 years of corporate experience in the field. She also leads a Positive Youth Development (PYD) Line of Business at a Nonprofit Evaluation firm. Ms. Johnson is experienced in program evaluation, continuous quality improvement, strategic decision making, organizational process improvement, performance measurement data collection and analysis. Over the past three years she has managed the evaluation for 10 programs focused on teen pregnancy prevention and sexual risk avoidance, funded by various Health and Human Services offices and departments.
Ms. Johnson’s experience in Random Controlled Trial, Impact, and Descriptive evaluations provide her with the skills needed to provide data informed suggestions for program implementation improvement, discover whether MER PYD clients are achieving their desired outcomes, and examine whether program participation is impactful.
Ms. Johnson continues to teach as an Adjunct Instructor of Sociology with a unique understanding of corporate culture. She holds a Masters in Sociology from The University of Cincinnati, as well as Bachelor of Business Administration Degrees in both Marketing and Human Resources from The Ohio State University. Trained in sales by the NBA, she understands the importance and overall effectiveness in relationship building. The basis of Ms. Johnson’s 10 years of corporate experience is in conflict resolution within the workplace, with particular emphasis on addressing the prevention and resolution of problems that arise from work place situations.
Ms. Johnson is a highly regarded qualitative and quantitative scientific researcher. Her skill set provides her with the expertise to observe and analyze social behavior on different corporate levels. Her work in corporate America has provided her experience in sales, relationship building, contract negotiation, full cycle recruiting (Indiana Pacers and Total Quality Logistics), general accounting, budgeting (PWC and Gap Finance), employee management (Perfection Group), and process analysis(University of Cincinnati).
